2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with POCSO Case No. 78 of 2023 arising out of Bihariganj P.S. Case No. 279 of 2022 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 363 and 365 of the Indian Penal Code to which later on Sections 363 and 366(i) of the I.P.C. was added and Section 8 of the POCSO Act.
3. The petitioner is accused of kidnapping the victim girl. In her statement made under Section 164 Cr. P.C., she says that she had gone to her Mausi's place. The petitioner is in jail since 15.11.2023.
4. Learned APP appearing for the State opposes the
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.22888 of 2024(2) dt.04-04-2024 2/2 prayer for regular bail of the petitioner.
5. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case and submissions of learned counsel for the parties, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional Sessions Judge-VI-cum-Special Judge, POCSO, Madhepura in connection with POCSO Case No. 78 of 2023 arising out of Bihariganj P.S. Case No. 279 of 2022.
