2. Counsel for the petitioner seeks permission to file rejoinder to the counter-affidavit in this case, but from the record, it transpires that vide order dated 02.08.2023, one week time has already been granted to file rejoinder to the counteraffidavit, but no any rejoinder to the counter-affidavit has been filed in this case.

3. The present writ petition has been filed for

Patna High Court CWJC No.4096 of 2023(3) dt.22-08-2023 2/2 directing the official respondents to pay the remaining 20 % compensation amount arising out of award No. 1 in Land Acquisition Case No. 20 of 2001-02 with other consequential benefit.

4. The counter-affidavit has been filed in this case and in the said counter-affidavit, there is clear cut stand of the respondents that a letter has been issued to the petitioner dated 07.06.2023 by which he has been informed to provide the required documents in the office dated 12.06.2023, so that needful action may taken for the payment of the remaining 20 % compensation amount to petitioner, but the petitioner has not approached to the authorities.

5. In this view of the matter, petitioner is directed to represent before the authority concerned who shall make the payment to the petitioner within 4 weeks thereafter. If the petitioner shall have further grievances, liberty is hereby granted to him that he may sue further.

6. With this direction, this civil writ application is hereby disposed of.
