JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 05-04-2023 Though the present writ petition has been filed for setting aside the order dated 2.9.2022, passed by the District Magistrate, Patna in Arms Case No. IX-272 of 2021, whereby and whereunder the application of the petitioner for grant of NP Bore Rifle and NP Bore Revolver / Pistol license has been rejected, but the learned counsel for the petitioner has, at the outset, sought liberty on behalf of the petitioner to file appropriate appeal against the said order dated 2.9.2022. Liberty, so sought, is granted.

It is needless to state that in case, appropriate appeal

Patna High Court CWJC No.4162 of 2023(2) dt.05-04-2023 2/2 is filed within a period of four weeks from today, the appellate authority shall consider the same on merits, without being impeded by the issue of limitation and pass a reasoned and a speaking order, in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks, thereafter.

The writ petition stands disposed off on the aforesaid terms.
