====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE PURNENDU SINGH ORAL ORDER 16-04-2025 Heard Mr. Uday Pratap Singh, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner and Mr. Rana Randhir Singh, learned APP for the State.

2. The petitioner seeks pre-arrest bail in connection with Lakhisarai (Mahila) P.S. Case No. 29 of 2024, registered for the offence punishable under Sections 498A, 494, 341, 323, 504/34 of the Indian Penal Code, as well as, Sections 3/4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

3. Parties have informed that they will settle the matrimonial dispute amicably.

4. It is expected that the parties will arrive at some amicable settlement without further resorting to any case after

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.19137 of 2025(2) dt.16-04-2025 2/2 case lodged against each other for trivial reasons when they have arrived not to live together and seeks to resolve their dispute with amicable settlement or by availing appropriate remedy.

5. It is made clear that in the light of law laid down by the Apex Court in the case of Arnesh Kumar v. State of Bihar reported in (2014) 8 SCC 273 and Satender Kumar Antil v. CBI reported in (2022) 10 SCC 51, the protection under Section 41 Cr.P.C. will remain with the petitioner.

6. If the police, in any manner, disturbs the petitioner, he must be apprise of the aforesaid law laid down by the Apex Court.

7. With the above observation/direction, the present bail application stands disposed of.
