The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Kangali P.S. Case No. 85 of 2022 registered for the offence under Section 272/273 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since 29.11.2022 and there is a recovery of 70 liters of Nepali liquor.

Learned A.P.P. has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail.

Considering the period of custody and the recovery of liquor, this application for regular bail is allowed.
