JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 22-03-2024 The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief:- "To issue an appropriate writ / order / direction, in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondents to immediately conclude the departmental proceeding initiated against the petitioner by the Water Resources Department, Bihar, Patna vide resolution dated 18.02.2021 issued by the Deputy Secretary in which the Enquiry Report has already been submitted on 08.10.2022."

At the outset, the learned counsel for the
Patna High Court CWJC No.4672 of 2024(2) dt.22-03-2024 2/2 parties are in agreement that the present writ petition can be disposed off with a direction to the disciplinary authority to conclude the pending departmental proceeding in question by taking the final decision, within a period of three months from today, failing which the same shall stand abated. It is directed, accordingly.

The writ petition stands disposed off on the aforesaid terms.
