The petitioner, in the present case, is seeking regular bail in connection with Harnaut P.S. Case No.285 of 2017, registered for offences alleged under Section 414/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

It is submitted that this petitioner was not driving the motorcycle and he was just a pillion rider and the motorcycle was intercepted by the police for checking. This petitioner has no concern with the alleged stolen motorcycle. It is stated that the petitioner has no criminal antecedent.

Learned APP opposed the prayer for bail.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.266 of 2018 (2) dt.12-01-2018 Considering the facts and circumstances, let the petitioner, above named, be enlarged on bail on his furnishing bail bond of Rs.15,000/- (fifteen thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned C.J.M., Nalanda in connection with Harnaut P.S. Case No.285 of 2017, subject to the conditions U/S 437(3) Cr.P.C.
