Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned APP for the State.

The petitioner prays for grant of anticipatory bail in connection with Brahampur P. S. Case No. 360 of 2020 registered for the offence punishable under Section 392 of Indian Penal Code.

It has been submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner is innocent and has been falsely implicated in this case which has been registered against unknown persons and the Police has falsely implicated him in different cases. He has also submitted that there is no legal evidence to connect the petitioner with the crime. Considered the submissions of the parties.

The petitioner is accused in a serious case of road hold-up and he has been named in the self-inculpatory statement

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.28320 of 2021(2) dt.24-03-2022 2/2 of the two co-accused.

In the above fact and circumstances, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. It is, accordingly, dismissed.
