The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Kharik P.S. Case No. 222 of 2017 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 302, 201, 120B/34 of the I.P.C. and Section 27 of the Arms Act.
The allegation is regarding the son of the informant having been kidnapped by unknown accused persons and subsequently his dead body was found.
The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that no evidence whatsoever has transpired during the course of investigation except the confessional statement of the co-accused persons so as to implicate the petitioner in the present case. It is submitted that the petitioner is having a clean antecedent and is languishing in
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.34194 of 2018 (3) dt.25-07-2018 2/2 custody since 25.11.2017.
Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned A.C.J.M.-II, Naugachhia in connection with Kharik P.S. Case No. 222 of 2017.
