The petitioner seeks pre-arrest bail in connection with Khagaria (Muffasil) P. S. Case No. 271 of 2017 registered under Sections 302/120-B/34 of the Indian Penal Code. Regard being had to the gravity of the offence and also the fact that the police may require custodial interrogation of the petitioner, I am not inclined to grant him pre-arrest bail. Accordingly, the application for grant of pre-arrest bail is rejected.
