BAJANTHRI) 07-08-2023 The present M.J.C. is filed for non-compliance of the order dated 29.01.2007 passed in C.W.J.C. No. 9843 of 2005. The present M.J.C. is presented in the year 2015. When we posed a question to the learned counsel for the petitioner how he will overcome the delay, on this issue, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that L.P.A. was pending consideration and it was decided on 11.01.2008. Even if L.P.A. decision date is taken, there is delay of seven years in filing the present contempt petition. Therefore, the present M.J.C.- contempt

Patna High Court MJC No.1492 of 2015(2) dt.07-08-2023 2/2 petition is not maintainable in the light of Section 20 of the Limitation Act, 1971. Recently, we have decided identical matter elaborately in M.J.C. No. 1840 of 2023 (Dr. Rajesh Kumar Sinha & Others Vs. The Union of India).

2. Accordingly, the present M.J.C.-Contempt petition stands dismissed on the ground of delay.
