Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Section 30(a) of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

About 300 liters of liquor was recovered from the dickey of the vehicle on which four person were apprehended including the petitioner. Petitioner is in custody since 25.01.2019. Petitioner has got no criminal antecedent. Submission is that petitioner had no knowledge about the liquor.

Considering the aforesaid facts, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No. 17869 of 2019(2) dt.10-04-2019 2/2 bond of Rs.20,000/- (Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court below where the case is pending in connection with Special Case No.939 of 2019 arising out of Kadamkuan Police Station Case No.59 of 2019, subject to the condition that both bailors shall be resident of territorial jurisdiction of the learned court below and further the petitioner shall fully cooperate with the investigation/trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.
