The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Khagaria (Town) PS case no. 383 of 2017 instituted for the offences punishable under Sections 272, 273 of Indian Penal Code and 30(a), 36 of the Bihar Excise Prohibition Act, 2016. The allegation is regarding recovery of 42 bottles of foreign liquor from a car belonging to the father of the petitioner.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was merely sitting in the car and has got nothing to do with the alleged recovery and has been infact falsely implicated in the present case. It is further submitted that the

Considering the nature of accusation, the period of custody undergone and clean antecedent, this Court is inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the petitioner is directed to be released on regular bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Rs. Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Addl. Sessions Judge 1st, Khagaria in connection with Khagaria (Town) PS case no. 383 of 2017.
