Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned APP for the State.
The petitioners apprehend their arrest in connection with Lalganj P.S. Case No.636 of 2019 registered for offences under Section 414 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2018.
Learned counsel for the petitioners has placed reliance upon the order dated 23.01.2020 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 86434 of 2019 by which similarly situated co-accused Manjit Rai @
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.18851 of 2022(2) dt.22-04-2022 2/2 Manjeet Ray has been granted anticipatory bail by a coordinate Bench of this Court.
For the reasons mentioned in the order dated 23.01.2020 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 86434 of 2019, this application for anticipatory bail is also allowed. Accordingly, let petitioner, above-named, in the event of his arrest or surrender within four weeks from today, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Exclusive Special Excise Court No.1cum-Additional District & Sessions Judge, Vaishali at Hajipur in connection with Lalganj P.S. Case No.636 of 2019, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Cr.P.C. (Sandeep Kumar, J) BT/- U T
