In the instant petition, petitioner has prayed for the following reliefs:- "(i) For issuance of writ in the nature of Mandamus for quashing the merit

Patna High Court CWJC No.6732 of 2020 dt.21-12-2021 2/3 list in which the Respondent No. 10 is on top in the said merit list and the petitioner is on 4th position in merit list, however petitioner have highest the marks in all applicant. That petitioner have 74.45% marks and the Respondent No. 10 have only 72.36%.

(ii) For issuance of writ for direction to quash the erroneous Merit List prepared in Aamsabha dated 10.12.18 by the Respondents and issue an direction to make fresh merit list with due process of law and proper care. ln such Circumstances the petitioner and the would get highest marks petitioner is the most appropriate candidates to be select on priority.

(iii) To grant any other reliefs(s) for which the petitioner is entitled to have the reliefs in terms of the material set out here in this writ application."

Petitioner is candidate for recruitment to the post of Anganwari Sevika under physically handicapped category. The post was advertised on 14.08.2018 and the last date for submission of application was 31.08.2018. The petitioner has obtained physically handicapped certificate on 06.11.2018 and it is beyond the last date prescribed.

Time and again, Courts have held that documents relating to a particular post along with the application is to be submitted before the last date prescribed. If it is beyond the last date prescribed such application is not maintainable.
