2. Petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under sections 498 (A) of the IPC . 3 . The prosecution case in brief, is that the marriage of complainant Jainab Fatima was solemnized with Faishur Rahman on 05.11.2022 and after some time of marriage , all the accused persons including this petitioner started demanding
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.23430 of 2025(3) dt.07-07-2025 2/3 dowry and due to non-fulfillment of demand of dowry , victim was subjected to cruelty and harassment. It is further alleged that on 26.01.2023, accused persons finally ousted the victim from her matrimonial house .

By filing a supplementary affidavit, it is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that the dispute between the parties has been compromised, and in this regard, a joint compromise petition has been filed in the Court of Learned Court of Additional Session Judge XXVI Patna, in which the petitioner has paid Rs. 13,00,000/- to the complainant (OP No. 2) as a onetime settlement, i.e.,. Annexure - 2 to the supplementary affidavit.
5 . Learned counsel for the State opposed the bail petition .
6 Considering the fact that dispute between the parties has settled by way of filing Joint Compromise petition in the Court below and other circumstances of the case , in the event of arrest or surrender within eight weeks from today, let the petitioner, as named above, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned JM 1st Class Patna in connection Complaint Case No. 9054 (C) of 2023 ,
