JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 09-12-2021 At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner has fairly submitted that the FIR in question has also been registered under the provisions of the Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989, thus as per the procedure being followed, Criminal Appeal (S.J.) is required to be filed, challenging the order passed by the learned court below, hence he may be permitted to convert the present application into a Criminal Appeal (S.J.). Considering the request made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner is granted two weeks time to convert the present petition into a petition under the appropriate provisions of law, for which he may approach the Registry, where he may be permitted to do the needful.
