The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief:- "1.That the instant writ petition is being preferred for issuance of appropriate writ/writs,order/orders, direction/directions, commanding
Patna High Court CWJC No.15307 of 2014(2) dt.13-07-2023 2/3 the respondents concerned to declare the petitioner medically fit and appoint him on the post of Constable pursuant to the advertisement of year 2012 issued by Staff Selection Commission, (Middle Range). Allahabad for recruitment of constable (G.D.) in Central Armed Police Forces (CRPFs)."

The learned counsel for the respondentState has submitted that since the petitioner was found medically unfit by the Medical Board, for the post of Constable/GD in CAPFs, due to "B/L Varicose Vein, B/L Hyper extended elbow and left testis being enlarged, the petitioner has not been selected. It is further submitted that the petitioner had then filed a review, whereafter the Review Medical Board had conducted medical examination of the petitioner on 30.05.2013, wherein also the petitioner was found medically unfit.

Having regard to the aforesaid aspect of the matter, this Court finds that since the petitioner has been found to be medically unfit, he has rightly not been selected for the post of
Patna High Court CWJC No.15307 of 2014(2) dt.13-07-2023 3/3 Constable by the Staff Selection Commission, Allahabad in pursuance to the advertisement of the year 2012. Thus, the present writ petition is dismissed being bereft of any merit.
