JUSTICE SHIVAJI PANDEY ORAL ORDER 09-08-2017 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the State.

In the present case, petitioner is challenging the order dated 17.9.2014 passed by Sub Divisional officer, Jagdishpur, Bhojpur, Ara by which he has cancelled his licence. Against the aforesaid order petitioner has filed an appeal vide Revenue Appeal No. 5 of 2014-15 before the Collector, Bhojpur, Ara which is pending for consideration. The petitioner in terms of the provision has filed appeal much earlier. It was duty of the Collector to dispose of the same expeditiously but the same is still pending for

Patna High Court CWJC No.19397 of 2016 (2) dt.09-08-2017 consideration.

In such view of the matter, this Court directs the Collector, Bhojpur, Ara to dispose of the appeal of the petitioner within a period of three months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order, if already not disposed of.

With the aforesaid observation this writ petition is disposed of.
