2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Paliganj P.S. Case No. 70 of 2022 registered for the offence under Sections 147, 148, 149, 323, 307, 354(B), 504 of the Indian Penal Code and under Section 27 of the Arms Act.

3. As per the prosecution case, the petitioner is accused of assaulting the victim.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is in custody since 6.9.2024. He further submits that the petitioner is not the assailant of the victim and he is only alleged to have caught hold of the victim.

5. Learned counsel for the State has opposed the application of the petitioner for grant of bail.

6. Considering the nature of allegation levelled against the petitioner and the period of custody, this application is allowed.

7. Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned SDJM, Danapur/concerned Court below in connection with Paliganj P.S.
