Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 400,401 and 414 of the Indian Penal Code.

The petitioner has got no criminal antecedent. He was travelling on a vehicle from which Rs. 1,08,500/- (Rupees One Lac Eight Thousand and Five Hundred) cash as well as some other articles were recovered and petitioner confessed that he and other co-accused were going to commit dacoity/theft. The petitioner is in custody since 15.06.2018.

Considering the fact that there is no substantial material against the petitioner to infer that he

No.47202 of 2018 (2) dt.10-08-2018 2/2 was going to commit dacoity or theft, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail after completion of the investigation against the petitioner on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court below where the case is pending in connection with Mufassil Police Station Case No.200 of 2018, subject to the condition that both bailors shall be resident of territorial jurisdiction of the learned court below and further the petitioner shall fully cooperate with the investigation/trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.
