JUSTICE ASHWANI KUMAR SINGH ORAL JUDGMENT Date: 25-05-2017 By way of the present application, the petitioner has prayed for a direction to the respondents to pay the due amount of group insurance scheme.

A counter affidavit has been filed on behalf of the State in which it has been stated that vide Bill No. 31/2015-16, the petitioner has been paid Rs.1,09,010/- on account of group insurance scheme for the entire period of his service except for five months i.e. August, 1981 till December, 1981 for which deduction

Learned counsel for the State submitted that for the period August, 1981 till December, 1981, even the petitioner has not furnished information regarding his place of posting. Considering the statement made in the counter affidavit since the grievance of the petitioner has been almost redressed, the writ petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to file representation in respect of any surviving claim before the respondent no. 2 in respect of amount of group insurance and if any representation is filed, the respondent no. 2 would be obliged to consider the same and pass appropriate order in accordance with law.
