The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Belsand P.S. Case No. 52/2017 dated 26.05.2017 instituted for the offences under Sections 341, 323, 326, 504 and 307/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

For the dispute over payment of money for sale of eggs, the informant is said to have been assaulted by the petitioner. The father of the petitioner is further alleged to have thrown acid on the victim.

From the investigation papers, it appears that because of the acid burn, the informant has received injuries in his eyes and his vision has been blurred. So far as the petitioner is concerned, he is only said to have assaulted the informant by means of fists

The petitioner is in custody since 27.05.2017 Regard being had to the fact that the petitioner is not alleged to have thrown acid on the informant, rather he is only said to have assaulted the informant by means of fists and slaps, this Court is inclined to grant bail to him.

The petitioner above named is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Judicial Magistrate 1st Class, Sitamarhi in connection with Belsand P.S. Case No. 52/2017.
