The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offence punishable under Sections 302/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act.

In pursuance to the order dated 13.04.2022, status report of trial in connection with Daudnagar P.S. Case No. 141 of 2020 has been received and kept at Flag-P, in which it is reported that five charge sheeted witnesses have been examined. Doctor who conducted the postmortem examination has also been examined. Rest four charge sheeted witnesses are yet to be examined.

Considering the present stage of the trial, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, his payer for bail is rejected in connection with Daudnagar P.S. Case No.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.18151 of 2022(3) dt.18-05-2022 2/2 141 of 2020 pending before the court of the learned SubDivisional Judicial Magistrate, Daudnagar. Accordingly, the application is dismissed. However, Trial Court is directed to conclude the trial as expeditiously as possible within a period of three months.
