2. The present writ petition has been preferred for the following relief(s):
"(i) For issuance of appropriate writ(s), order(s), direction(s) in the nature of Mandamus commanding/directing the Respondent Authorities to fix a date for measuring the land/plot of the Petitioner.
(ii) For issuance of appropriate writ(s),
Patna High Court CWJC No.5909 of 2025(2) dt.22-04-2025 2/3 order(s), direction(s) to the Respondent Authorities to ensure that the rights and interests of the Petitioner is protected and the process of measurement is carried out in fair and transparent manner within a reasonable period of time with the assistance of police team."
3. It is unfortunate that the lady petitioner has to come to Patna High Court for simple prayer - to direct the respondents, specially respondent no. 5, the Circle Officer, Sadar, Patna to take steps for measuring her land so that she can further take up the developmental work on it. The record shows that she had preferred an online application beside informing all the higher authorities but the Office of the Circle Officer, Sadar, Patna is sitting tight over the matter.
4. Learned State counsel submits that he shall be informing the Circle Officer, Sadar, Patna to take up the matter, notice the petitioner and take the matter to its appropriate conclusion at an earliest.
5. Accepting the words of the learned State counsel, the writ petition stands disposed of with the direction to the petitioner to approach the respondent no. 5, the Circle Officer, Sadar, Patna in next four weeks along with all the proper
Patna High Court CWJC No.5909 of 2025(2) dt.22-04-2025 3/3 petition/Annexures/documents supporting her case and the Office of the respondent no. 5 is duty bound to acknowledge those petition and is further directed to take the matter to its logical conclusion at an earliest and in any case, within three months from the date the lady approaches him/her.
6. Failure to do so, the petitioner will be entitled for cost not only from the pocket of the respondent no. 5 but also she is free to file the contempt petition.
