The petitioner is in judicial custody in connection with Jehanabad (Karauna) P.S. Caso No.634 of 2021 instituted under Section 364/34 of the Indian Penal Code lodged on 08.10.2021 by the informant, Suryadev Singh.

The informant in the FIR has alleged that the accused persons including the petitioner herein abducted his son and he apprehended that he may be killed. Subsequently the police investigated the matter and after his arrest the petitioner herein made confessional statement and as submitted by learned counsel for the informant it was on his confession statement that the dead body of the son of the informant was recovered. Earlier the prayer for bail of the petitioner was rejected vide order dated 14.07.2022 passed in Cr. Misc. No.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.18341 of 2023(3) dt.19-04-2023 2/2 16427 of 2022.

The report has now been received and as per the letter no. 142 dated 27.03.2023, four prosecution witnesses have been examined and for rest of the witnesses summons have already issued.

In that view of the matter, this Court for the present is not inclined to grant him privilege of bail which is rejected with a direction to expedite the trial and conclude the same preferably within a period of six months.
