The petitioners seek bail in connection with Hajipur Town P.S. Case No. 68 of 2020 registered under Section 20 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act. The accusation is that in course of patrolling when the police party reached at Kargil Chowk, then, seeing the police party the culprits started to flee away, but, they were apprehended on chase, who disclosed their names as Banni Kumar and Md. Anuthe. On their search each was found in possession of three small puriyas containing brown colour material.

Submission is that it would appear from the first

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.15963 of 2020(2) dt.03-06-2020 2/2 information report that the quantity of the brown colour material has not been disclosed in the first information report. Both the petitioners have no criminal antecedent and are in custody since 22.01.2020.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, let the petitioners, above named be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (rupees ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each in connection with Hajipur Town P.S. Case No. 68 of 2020 to the satisfaction of the Sessions Judge, Vaishali at Hajipur, subject to the condition that out of two bailors, one must either be parent or close relative of both the petitioners.
