2. The petitioner is apprehending arrest in connection with Kudra P.S. Case No.433 of 2025 lodged on 06.11.2025, for the offences punishable under Sections 80, 61(2), 191(2), 115(2), 352 & 351(2) of the B.N.S., 2023.
3. As per the prosecution, FIR has been lodged against 9 named accused persons including the present petitioner with allegation that the informant's daughter was subject to torture by the family members of her husband. They used to assault periodically. In result, she was tortured and decided to suicide and hang herself.
4. Learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has committed no offence. Counsel
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.20141 of 2026(4) dt.17-06-2026 2/3 also submits that the petitioner is devrani (sister-in-law) of the deceased (wife of dewar of the deceased). He further submits that in the family of petitioner's husband, litigation is going on between her husband with his mother and other brother. In this regard, there are two cases. First is Title Suit No.606 of 2018 (Leela Devi Vs. Alok Kumar and Ors.) and second is Title Suit No.405 of 2018 (Alok Kumar & Ors. Vs. Leela Devi & Ors.) pending before the 1st Sub-Judge, Bhabhua.
5. Counsel further submits that in addition to that there are also two complaint cases filed. One by husband of the deceased and another by mother-in-law against the petitioner and her husband. On this ground, counsel put emphasis that the petitioner and her husband have inimical term with in-laws family and on this ground, he submits that petitioner is nowhere involved in the family of the deceased.
6. Learned APP for the State opposes the prayer for bail of the petitioner, but fairly submits that case diary has been called for. From the case diary, and post-mortem report, it transpires that cause of death is due to hanging, but in the case diary, it has come that the petitioner and her husband are living separately.
7. As such, in the present facts and circumstances of

No.20141 of 2026(4) dt.17-06-2026 3/3 this case, let the above named petitioner be released on anticipatory bail, in the event of arrest or surrender before the learned Court below within a period of 4 weeks from today, on furnishing bail bond of Rs.30,000/- (Rupees Thirty Thousand) as mentioned in Section 2(1)(d) of the BNSS, 2023 to the satisfaction of 2nd Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Kaimur at Bhabhua, in connection with Kudra P.S. Case No.433 of 2025, subject to the conditions as laid down U/s 482(2) of the BNSS, 2023.
