In these two cases the petitioners are farmers attached to Chatiya Chintamanpur Primary Agriculture Credit Cooperative Society in the district of East Champaran. It is their grievance that although they have supplied their paddy crops to the said society but have not been paid the price thereof. The grievance is thus directed against the society. In the nature of the grievance so raised, these writ petitions at their present stage are not maintainable and are disposed of with liberty to the petitioners to take recourse to such other remedy as may be available to them under the provisions of the Bihar Cooperative Societies Act, 1935 and the Rules framed thereunder for realization of the price.
