The petitioner apprehends his arrest in Yoggapatti(Sanichari) P.S. Case No.150 of 2013 registered under Sections 467, 468, 471, 420, 414/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

The gist of the allegation is that one Scorpio vehicle bearing registration No.UP53AJ-8486 was intercepted. Jahir Alam, driver of the vehicle and Anwar Hussain(the petitioner), who was sitting on back seat of the vehicle, informed that owner of the vehicle is residing in Saudi Arab and petitioner was released on furnishing personal bonds but Reyaz Ahmad produced the papers and on verification, it was found that the vehicle was registered in the name of Ramesh Patel and forged and fabricated papers were produced.

No.22201 of 2019(2) dt.08-04-2019 2/2 The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in fact, petitioner purchased the vehicle from Ved Prakash Tiwary who had assured to get the vehicle transferred from Ramesh Patel but it appears that forged and fabricated documents were produced before the investigating officer and moreover, the petitioner was released on personal bonds, therefore, the anticipatory bail is not maintainable.

Taking into consideration the facts aforesaid, this anticipatory bail petition is dismissed.
