The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief:- "That, this is an application for issuance for a writ in the nature of mandamus and/or any other appropriate writ/order/ direction commanding upon the Respondents to maintain parity in payment of salary to the petitioners to that of their juniors appointed much after on 04.09.2009 and make payment of salary to the petitioners as was paid

Patna High Court CWJC No.9980 of 2015(2) dt.18-08-2023 2/2 to them till may 2013 and further to hold that the letter no 1336 dated 11.02.2013 is not applicable is illegal for the reason of its being unreasonable arbitrary and misinterpretation of the letter no 630 dated 21.01.2010 to the extent it provide that entry pay in the revised pay structure for direct recruits appointed on or after 01.01.2006 as mentioned in schedule II would not apply to the employees holding the same post since early."

At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioners seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioners to approach the respondent-authorities for redressal of their aforesaid grievances. Liberty, so sought, is granted.
