2. The petitioner apprehends her arrest in connection with Special Vigilance Case No. 01 of 2024, arising out of Banmankhi P.S. Case No. 28 of 2024, instituted under Sections 420, 467, 468 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 7 of Prevention of Corruption Act.

3. As per the prosecution case, irregularity committed by the petitioner, who is Sarpanch of Gram KachahariDharhara, Block- Banmankhi, Purnea, in the appointment of Nyay Mitra of Gram Kachahari- Dharhara in the year 2018.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.22853 of 2024(3) dt.08-05-2024 2/2 petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case. He further submits that the occurrence took place in the year 2018, however, F.I.R. has been lodged in the year 2024, after delay of six years. Petitioner has no criminal antecedent. She is lady. She is ready to co-operate in the investigation and trial.

5. Learned A.P.P. for the State and Vigilance oppose the prayer for anticipatory bail.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and submission of learned counsel for the parties, in the event of arrest or surrender before the Court below within six weeks from today, the petitioner be released on bail upon furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned concerned Court where the case is pending in connection with Special Vigilance Case No. 01 of 2024, arising out of Banmankhi P.S. Case No. 28 of 2024, subject to the conditions laid down in Section 438 (2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973.
