The petitioners, who are parents-in-law and younger brother-in-law of the informant respectively, seek bail in anticipation of their arrest in connection with Mehsi P. S. Case No. 440 of 2018 dated 16.12.2018 instituted for the offences under Sections 341, 323, 498 (A), 504 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961.

Learned counsel for the petitioners has submitted

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.16972 of 2019(2) dt.26-03-2019 2/2 that the informant is not having cordial relationship with her spouse and thereafter she has chosen to implicate all the members of his family in the present case. The accusation is general and omnibus in nature. The petitioners have been staying separately from the informant and her spouse from the last several years.

Considering the relationship of the parties and the general and omnibus nature of accusation against them, they are directed to be released on bail, in the event of their arrest or surrender before the court below within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt / production of a copy of this order, on their furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000 /- (Ten Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned A.C.J.M.-6, Motihari, East Champaran in connection with Mehsi P. S. Case No. 440 of 2018, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438 (2) Cr.P.C.
