The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Sikandara P.S. Case No.157 of 2018 registered for the offence punishable under sections 147, 148, 341, 323, 307, 316 & 504 of the Indian Penal Code.

As per the prosecution case, the accused persons including the petitioner abused and assaulted the informant side. In the said said assault, one Vinita Devi, who was eight months pregnant, sustained injury resulting miscarriage.

It has been submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner is innocent and has committed no offence and he has been falsely implicated in this case due to

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.22572 of 2024(2) dt.04-04-2024 2/2 land dispute. It has also been submitted that there is general and omnibus allegation against the petitioner. Similarly situated coaccused Phuleshwar Manjhi has been granted bail by a coordinate Bench of this Court in Criminal Miscellaneous No.71750 of 2022 vide order dated 17.03.2023. The petitioner is in custody since 09.10.2023.

Considering the aforesaid submissions, this application is allowed.

Let the petitioners, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Jamui / concerned court, in connection with Sikandara P.S. Case No.157 of 2018. (Sandeep Kumar, J) pawan/- U T
