2. The petitioner is the son of the deceased employee of the respondent Gramin Bank. He has approached this Court with a grievance that the application which has been filed by him for being considered for appointment on compassionate ground after the death of his father on 02.10.2017, has not been responded to.

3. On oral instructions from the respondents, learned counsel appearing for them submits that the Bank has not received any such application on behalf of the petitioner.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner on the other hand submits that there is a scheme of compassionate appointment in the Bank. The father of the petitioner was the only earning member and none of the members of the family of the petitioner are employed in Government service.

5. The petitioner is therefore directed to make an application under the scheme of compassionate appointment in the bank within a period of four weeks from today enclosing all the documents which are required for consideration for appointment on compassionate ground. The concerned authority shall, on receipt of such representation/application, consider the same within a further period of three months and shall pass a reasoned order within the aforesaid period. 6.With the aforesaid direction/observation, the writ petition is disposed of.
