JUSTICE ASHUTOSH KUMAR ORAL ORDER 03-04-2019 The petitioner seeks bail in anticipation of his arrest in connection with Imamganj P.S. Case No. 7 of 2019, dated 10.01.2019, instituted for the offences under Sections 420, 467, 468, 471 and 120(B) of the Indian Penal Code.

On the orders of this Court, the subject F.I.R. was registered after finding that Panchayat Teachers were appointed on forged certificates. Hence, the subject F.I.R.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.19952 of 2019(2) dt.03-04-2019 2/3 The petitioner was the Block Development Officer/Block Education Officer at the relevant time. It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that even if the certificates furnished by the candidates/aspirants were forged, the petitioner did not have the wherewithals to know that such certificates were forged. There is no allegation of petitioner showing any preference for such candidates who had furnished forged certificates. It has also been brought to the notice of this Court that the investigation with respect to the aforesaid case is still pending and some of the Teachers, whose certificates were found to be forged, have been granted anticipatory bail by different Benches of this Court.

Considering the aforementioned aspects of the matter, the petitioner above named, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the learned Court below within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of the present order, is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount
