Petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Section 498A of the Indian Penal Code and Section 3/4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act. Informant has stated that she was married to Deepak Kumar Singh (petitioner) in the year 2012 and from said wedlock, one male child was born. Thereafter, her husband and her in-laws started demanding heavy amount in form of dowry. The accused persons after taking her into confidence, took away her ornaments worth Rs.6,00,000/-. When the informant went to her matrimonial home and demanded the said ornaments, the accused persons refused to return the same to her. They have

It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that he is innocent and has been falsely implicated in this case. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and nature of allegation, I am not inclined to grant the petitioner anticipatory bail. Hence, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is hereby rejected.
