Learned counsel for the petitioner undertakes to remove the defects, if any, within three weeks. The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under Sections 467, 468, 471, 420, 120B of the Indian Penal Code.

As per FIR, certificate of the petitioner was found forged during the enquiry.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has been falsely implicated in this case. He submits that till date petitioner has not resigned from service. He submits that the certificate of the petitioner is not forged rather the same is genuine one. He submits that the petitioner is a government employee, as such, there is no chance of his absconding. Learned APP for the State opposes the prayer for bail and submits that there is direct and specific allegation against the petitioner that he has obtained a forged certificate and submitted the same for appointment of teacher. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, I am not inclined to enlarged the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, his prayer for anticipatory bail is rejected in connection with Islampur P.S.
