The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case under Section 379 and other sections of the Indian Penal Code. The informant made allegation that when he was returning after selling flowers, the petitioner intercepted and assaulted him with the butt of pistol and snatched Rs. 2,000/- from his pocket. It is submitted that on account of the fact that the petitioner had given some land on Patta to the informant and for that the occurrence took place, but there is no such document on record. There is a very specific allegation that the petitioner assaulted the informant and snatched Rs. 2,000/- from him. Considering the facts aforesaid, I am not inclined to
