2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Keoti P.S. Case No. 408 of 2024 registered for the offence under Sections 324(4), 118(2), 303(2) & 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023.

3. As per the prosecution case, accused persons assaulted the informant and also looted Rs. 30,000/- from him.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is innocent and has not committed any offence. Petitioner is in custody since 24.12.2024. He further submits that the petitioner and the informant are the co-villagers.

5. Learned A.P.P. has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail.

6. Considering the period of custody and the fact that the petitioner and the informant are the co-villagers, this application for regular bail is allowed.

7. Accordingly, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand)with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Judicial Magistrate 1st Class, Darbhanga/concerned Court below in connection with Keoti P.S. Case No. 408 of 2024.
