1. The petitioner by way of this writ petition has prayed:

"1. That this is an application for issuance of an appropriate writ/writs, order or orders, direction/directions for commanding the respondents to appoint the petitioner in Bihar Police Service."

2. No grounds have been mentioned in the writ petition for coming up before this Court and simply the petitioner states that a similar case has been decided. The petitioner states in this writ petition that he has participated in the selection process conducted in the year 2004 and secured 13

Patna High Court CWJC No.15605 of 2014(3) dt.30-11-2022 2/2 marks in the physical examination and submits that persons having lower marks have been appointed. However, the reply has been filed and it is informed that he was not appointed because of limitation of number of vacancies. The last selected candidate was having higher merit than the petitioner. The entire selection record has been placed before the Court. This Court finds that the selection process has been conducted by providing reservation to different categories and posts were accordingly reserved. The petitioner has scored only 13 marks in General category. Writ petition has been filed in 2014 relating to posts advertised in 2004 without assigning any reasons for delay.

3. Keeping in view thereto, no case for interference is made out.

4. The writ petition is dismissed.
