The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Laukahi P.S. Case No. 252 of 2022 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 302, 201 / 34 of the Indian Penal Code. As per the prosecution case, the allegation against the petitioner is that he alongwith other co-accused person committed murder of daughter of the informant, namely, Sita Devi and thrown the dead body outside in the open field. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is married Nanad of the deceased and living in her Sasural. She has no concern with the affairs of the deceased and
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.18611 of 2023(2) dt.16-05-2023 2/2 her husband. There is general and omnibus allegation against the petitioner. She is in jail custody since 17.10.2022 and charge sheet has alreay been submitted against her and cognizance has also been taken in this case. The petitioner has no criminal antecedent.
Learned APP appearing for the State has opposed the prayer for regular bail of the petitioner.
Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case and submissions of learned counsel for the parties, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned A.C.J.M. -I, Jhanjharpur, Madhubani in connection with Laukahi P.S. Case No. 252 of 2022.
