JUSTICE CHAKRADHARI SHARAN SINGH ORAL ORDER 19-08-2017 Heard learned Counsel for the parties concerned. The petitioner claims that he was appointed as Class-IV employee in Supply Department of the Government of Bihar in the year 1966, where he worked till 28.08.1974 and thereafter he was transferred to Bihar State Food Corporation on 01.09.1974, wherefrom he retired with effect from 31.08.2012. He is getting pension at Rs. 1480/- per month from Bihar State Food Corporation.

It is his case that he should be allowed pension for the period during which he worked in the Supply Department of the Government of Bihar since 24.06.1966 till28.08.1974.

If what has been stated in the writ application is to be accepted, the petitioner worked in the Supply Department, Government of Bihar, and the Bihar State Food Corporation for more than 46 years. Secondly, the petitioner did not raise any claim for pension for the period during which he had worked in the Supply Department, Government of Bihar, at any point of time, as there is nothing on record to show whether he raised any such grievance, before the authorities.

This is a frivolous application and deserves to be dismissed at the threshold.

This application is accordingly dismissed.
