The petitioners apprehend their arrest in a case under Section 406 and other sections of the Indian Penal Code and Section 3(1) (x) of the S.C. and S. T. Act.

The informant filed a complaint alleging therein that the petitioners gave him a contract to construct their house on payment of Rs. 1, 40, 000/-. The informant completed the works but the petitioners paid only Rs. 50,000/- and on demand the petitioners are alleged to have assaulted the informant and also abused him by naming his caste.

On the face of it, it appears that the dispute arose with regard to payment of remaining contract amount whereas the petitioners claimed to have paid the entire amount.

No.30563 of 2015 (2) dt.29-07-2015 2/2 Considering the facts aforesaid and the nature of allegations made against the petitioners, the above named petitioners, in the event of their arrest or surrender before the learned court below within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt / production of a copy of this order, are directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Sub-divisional Judicial Magistrate, Jhanjharpur (Madhubani) in Ghoghardiha P.S.
