JUSTICE JYOTI SARAN ORAL ORDER 28-08-2017 Heard Mr. Vijay Kumar Singh, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. Anisul Haque, AC to AAG-5, for the State. The petitioner prays for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondent authorities to complete the selection process initiated for appointment of Anganwari Sevika Centre No. 159, Ward No. 4, Gram Panchayat Raj Harlochanpur, Block Sakra, in the District of Muzaffarpur.

It is the submission of Mr. Singh, learned counsel for the petitioner, that the selection process was initiated for appointment

Patna High Court CWJC No.1753 of 2016 (2) dt.28-08-2017 of Anganwari Sevika for the centre in question vide Annexure 1, but the same has not been taken to its conclusion. While referring to a representation filed before the District Magistrate, Muzaffarpur at Annexure 6 he submits that a copy was endorsed to the Child Development Project Officer.

Having heard learned counsel for the parties I deem it proper to dispose of the writ petition with a direction to the District Programme Officer, Muzaffarpur to consider the grievance of the petitioner and dispose of the same by taking a decision on the selection process so initiated for appointment of Anganwari Sevika Centre No. 159, Ward No. 4, Gram Panchayat Raj Harlochanpur, Block Sakra, in the District of Muzaffarpur within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt/ production of a copy of this order.
