Ms. Aparna Arun, learned counsel for the Bihar Public Service Commission, is present and submits that since the petitioners were found overage on the cutoff date i.e. 1.8.2010 in the result so published, they were shown as ineligible to participate. It is submitted that the age of relaxation for the Scheduled Caste candidate was fixed at 42 years as on 1.8.2010 but the petitioner exceeded the said age on the cutoff date, that is how they were declared ineligible for appointment. Having heard learned counsel for the respondents and

Patna High Court CWJC No.1775 of 2016 (2) dt.28-08-2017 having perused the record I find no reason to interfere with the decision which was published on the website declaring them disqualified in the selection process.

The writ petition is dismissed.
