Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 4 and 5 of the Explosive Substance Act.

The petitioner is not named in the FIR. In the confessional statement of Shatrughan Shah name of the petitioner has surfaced. Shatrughan Shah had further confessed that bomb is lying in the house of Sunil Jha. Thereafter, bomb was recovered from the house of Sunil Jha.

Sunil Jha has already been allowed bail by a Coordinate Bench of this Court vide order dated 18.10.2017 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 48596 of 2017.

No.61510 of 2017 (2) dt.21-12-2017 2/2 Considering the aforesaid facts, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court below where the case is pending in connection with Paharpur Police Station Case No. 197 of 2017, subject to the condition that the petitioner shall fully cooperate with the investigation and trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.
