The petitioner is in custody in connection with Sanokhar (Amdanda) P.S. Case No. 18 of 2016, registered for the offence punishable under Sections 363, 366, 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Having regard to the statement of the victim recorded under Section 164 of the Cr.P.C., the Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, prayer for bail is dismissed.

However, the Court below is directed to expedite the hearing of the trial and conclude the same preferably within a period of nine months.
