Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 489B and 489C of the Indian Penal Code.

The petitioner is in custody since 08.08.2016. Allegation is that fake currency note to the tune of Rs.1,00,000/- was recovered from possession of the petitioner. Submission is that report of the learned trial Judge would reveal prosecution evidence is going on. The petitioner is ready to cooperate with the trial. Co-accused Ajay Kumar Gupta @ Vijay Kumar Gupta has already been allowed bail, by a Coordinate Bench of this Court, vide order dated 13.09.2017, passed in Cr. Misc. No. 41186 of 2017 (Annexure-3),

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.62965 of 2017 (7) dt.23-03-2018 2/2 having identical allegation.

Considering the aforesaid fact, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court below where the case is pending in connection with Sessions Trial No. 489 of 2017 arising out of Ramgharwa Police Station Case No. 39 of 2016, subject to the condition that the petitioner shall fully cooperate with the trial of the case, failing which the trial Judge shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner as well as condition that both the bailors shall be the resident of within the territorial jurisdiction of the court below.
