The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Special Case No. 6736 of 2017 arising out of Patliputra P.S. Case No. 332 of 2017 instituted for the offences under Sections 30(a), 38(1) (2) 41(1)(2) of the Bihar Prohibition Excise Act. The allegation is regarding recovery of certain number of bottles of foreign liquors from a sack found at the L.C.T. Ghat, Patna near the banks of the river Ganga and the petitioner is said to have been apprehended while fleeing from the said place. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the present case, he is in custody since 06.10.2017 and has a clean antecedent. Case No. 332 of 2017.
